History

Recognizing the potentials and aspirations of young generation aiming to join the noble profession of teaching Guru Hargobind Medical Education society established this premier educational institution GHG college of education in 2009.As our Country, especially Punjab is passing through a transition phase where in the school education needs to be fed with skilful and motivated teachers .To help the would be teachers to imbibe a penchant for acquiring teaching and learning skills, the college is putting its all efforts to meet the expectations of the students in particular and the society at large.

To empower pupil teachers with quality education and keep them abreast with the development in the modern world. The aim is to produce Quality Human Capital for the world. The focus is on holistic development of the pupil teachers with personality enhancement and stress on the development of communicative skills.

GENERAL RULES

1. Smoking, Drinking and taking of any type of intoxicants are forbidden in the college premises.
2. Pupil - Teacher should wear simple, neat, clean and teacher like dress.
3. It is moral duty of all the students to protect the college property.
4. Attendance in all the college functions is compulsory.
5. The text-books prescribed for study must be procured immediately after admission.
6. Ragging is strictly banned in the college as well as in the hostel. Those who violate this rule shall be strictly dealt with.
7. Bus Pass facility is available as per Punjab Govt. Rules.
